The story of Maison Panagiotis begins in the late 1970s, in the northern suburbs of Athens, in Néa Philadelphia. It was on Kavalas Street that the first “Panagiotis” grocery store was born. Initially a simple neighborhood grocery, Panagiotis Paretzoglou, its founder, quickly turned it into a must-visit place for the quality and refinement of its products.

In 2007, his grandson revived the brand in France, in Avignon. Fine grocery stores, restaurants, cooking classes, and gastronomic tours in the streets of Athens — over the years, Panagiotis became a family business and has continued to evolve with the goal of sharing Greek culinary culture with as many people as possible.

In 2015, Panagiotis became Maison Panagiotis.

In 2021, Maison Panagiotis opened its doors within the 12th-century ramparts of the town of Noves.

"From choosing fresh products selected with my Pappou at the central agora of Athens, to the stoves of my Yiayia and my Theia, from the Asia Minor recipes of my great Yiayia who was deported to those from the Peloponnese where I discovered that the tomato was a sweet fruit; I had an entire Greek culinary story to share.

With us, tomato sauces are cooked only with fresh tomatoes. The spanakopitas come out of the oven every morning, our yogurt comes from Greece, our Feta is the only one allowed to bear its name, and all the dishes served to you are homemade.

Our menu is a true immersion into old-time Greece, from the 70s and 80s, when meals were shared around big tables, in a simple, friendly and generous atmosphere. Each mezzé we offer has been conceived as a tribute to traditional recipes passed down through generations.

We have carefully selected the best fresh and seasonal ingredients to offer you a culinary experience faithful to the Greek soul, balancing authentic flavors and respect for the products.

Our vegetarian mezzé celebrates the richness of Mediterranean vegetables with recipes like tzatziki, eggplant caviar, grilled peppers with Greek yogurt, Cretan dakos, or coral lentil fava, to name a few.

Our land mezzé is a journey through mountains and villages, with emblematic dishes such as mint keftedakia, spetzofai with halloumi, or lemon chicken with potatoes, cooked with Cretan honey and ginger.

Our sea mezzé highlights iodized and sun-kissed flavors: mussels with white wine and feta, prawns flambéed with ouzo, or octopus with Cretan wine and fresh tomato, accompanied of course by the essentials: tzatziki, revithia plaki, and white tarama.
